Y12SR combines the practical tools of the 12-step program with the ancient wisdom of yoga.  Combining the two creates a model that truly addresses addiction as the physical, mental and spiritual disease that it is.

Y12SR is a 12-step based discussion and yoga practice that is open to anyone and everyone dealing with their own addictive behavior or affected by the addictive behavior of others.  This is an open and inclusive group.  All A's are welcome.  Wear comfortable clothing.

Y12SR meeting are offered to the community by donation.

  • yoga mats are provided or you may bring your own
  • meetings are held on the second floor, stair climbing required

Join us for a group meditation instruction on the basics of how to practice meditating, what happens

Yoga with Heart 

We now know exactly what happens in the brain and in the cells of the body when we meditate.  We also know what happens when we are stressed and have feelings of anxiety, depression, panic, anger, frustration, fear, etc.

Join us for a group meditation instruction on the basics of how to practice meditating, what happens while you do so and what happens when you don't.  See and feel the difference.  Different types of meditation will be introduced.  This class is suitable for beginners as well as those who are practiced.

Sessions will be held monthly.  Dress comfortably, bring a special mat or pillow to sit on if you'd like, there are yoga mats available to borrow for the session.  

NOTE:  Class is held on the 2nd floor, stair climbing required

Tickets are $10 per person
